Monte Bondone
Mount Bondone, an alpine place just 10 km far from the motorway and close to the city of Trento, offers unforgettable and breathtaking views of the wonderful natural landscape. Mount Bondone represents a point of tourist attraction both in winter and in summer, when people can enjoy and practice many sport activities in this natural environment. In winter Mount Bondone plays a very important role as ideal place to do winter-sports: such as alpine ski, carving on the "Gran Pista", snowboard, cross-country ski (in Viote area), ski touring in the wide snowed area, which is fully equipped with all kinds of services (ski-schools, ski-renting shops, shops, bars and refuges). Ski in Trentino started to develop right on Mount Bondone in 1934, when the first ski-lift was created by Giovanni Graffer. Moreover since 1959 Mount Bondone has been the setting for the famous Mickey Mouse Trophy of alpine-ski.
